Memories of Granada Ring Style Pendant

and Beaded Chain

In the Winter 2019 session you may remember the Memories of Granada Bracelet and Necklace.  From my `Memories of Granada' Collection of patterns, this simple beaded ring pendant is the perfect foil for fancying up a plain top or dress.  The use of Swarovski pearls and crystals in your favourite colours are sure to attract comments and admiring glances.

Braided Bling Bracelet

While working on a Diane Dennis necklace that used a braid like stitch with a pendant, I found I didn't like the pendant but loved the idea of the braided stitch.  As it was too plain for my taste, you know what came next.  Change it up a bit and this project is the result.  Easily finished in an evening, pick a few of your favourite bead colours and take a class!

Beaded Crystal Ring

or Wreath

This lovely beaded ring can be used as a Pendant, Brooch, Ring or strung as a grouping for a Bracelet, but as Christmas approaches this retro pattern can be used as a tree decoration or in your home to reflect the joys of the season.  Adding a rivoli between layers of crystal makes a lovely setting for a ring.  These work up quickly and are so versatile.  Make them to give as hostess, friend or family gifts.  For true bling make them in any size of Swarovski Bicone, for a more sedate look try Czech Fire Polished beads.  Don't just think in green - a great choice is clear or AB crystal for a classic look.

Knot Tying

for Mala Style Necklaces

With trend focusing on Yoga and such, I finally tried developing my own style of bead knotted necklaces and I love the result.

There is something about wearing natural gems that calls out to us, so I decided to put some knots in between the gems and I love the way the knots provide a separation of each bead, showing off their perfect shapes.  A bit of your favourite stone and a few other trinkets will lead you to a new path.

Please Note:  This class is not a specific class for making Mala necklaces or about gem information rather it is a `how to tie knots` and creating a well designed jewellery piece.
